Twenty area vendors set up shop around the field selling jewelry, candles, apparel, produce, seafood and more.
Entertainment was also provided by a DJ.
Vendors say they appreciate the support from the community coming off such a tough year, and they’re thankful to Dr. King for making it all possible.
“The way that he has paved for us to be able to vote, for equality. There is so much uncertainty in the world, but one thing stands true: Equality belongs to everyone. And today, MLK Day, we represent that. But you know what? Every day should be MLK Day," says Bluffton business owner, Sharon Brown.
This was the final Gullah Market until spring.
