The Black Excellence Ball had it's inaugural debut in 2019. The Ball recognizes Black Excellence in business, education, community service, Gullah preservation, and honors Lifetime Achievement recipients. The Ball has become a must attend event as it's a night of homage and celebration of some of the community's best and brightest. The event is held the Saturday of MLK Weekend and is definitely the hottest party with a purpose.
